On Wednesday morning, March 18, a table was set up in front of Crestwood Elementary School to distribute food for breakfast and again in mid-day
for area students to get lunch. In response to the closures connected with the coronavirus, Fairfax County Public Schools is assisting families that rely on free and reduced priced school meals and is providing grab and go meals at no cost for students as several sites throughout the county.
FCPS students can come to any of the sites to pick up a meal during these time periods. FCPS students and other County children under 18 can receive one meal at no-cost; and, may have additional meals at no-cost upon request. Adults may purchase breakfast and lunch meals at a cost of $2.00.
Breakfast will be served from 8-10:30 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
